End of summer update: September 5, 2016
The schools are back and the sun has disappeared but it is anything but quiet at the offices of SPL Property Management.
Kasia Luraniec has joined us today as Property Management Administrator and she has already signed up to the IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Managers) and is booked onto the Regional training day in Bristol on 5th October. Kasia is busy learning her way around our property management software and familiarising herself with our growing portfolio.
Our Accounts Administrator, Rhianna Lord, is back to college tomorrow to start work on her AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting, furthering her accountancy skills. At the same time, Rhianna and Allison are working on the monthly reconciliations of over 100 Client Accounts, paying all contractor’s invoices, billing September service charges and chasing any arrears.
Tony, our Health and Safety Manager, is chasing contractors for Public Liability insurances and Safety Method Statements to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations (2015). He is also reviewing motor insurance policies for our fleet of maintenance vans.
Emily Ørner, our Head of Property Management, is busy finalising new September budgets, reviewing Condition Reports from our local surveyor, and reviewing major works progress. In addition, she is busy revising for her Applied Valuations exam on Thursday to progress further towards achieving her MRICS.
We have a number of new properties in the pipeline and are actively seeking further instructions. Over the past 6 months our portfolio has grown over 15% and we are confident that our ARMA membership will help to continue to grow this even further.
If you would like to talk to us about how we can assist with the management of your property please do not hesitate to contact us today.
